How to connect Android to Mac via Wi-Fi network

Well, I found an application on Android which is quite helpful to me and I'd like to share about it to you. If you have an Android but you also have a MacBook, I suspect you have difficulty to share your files such as music, photos or movies between your Android and Mac. The only thing I know is most people need using a USB cable through Android Files Transfer app. I know the app is more popular to help Android and Mac users to move your files between the devices. But only if you know, you can do it easier through Wi-Fi network! Yes, you still can do it wirelessly even it's on an Android device.
It's Droid NAS, this app allows me moving my files without a USB cable, it does wirelessly. It's simple and of course it's faster. You just can install it from your Android device and you don't even need anything installed on your Mac.
So, how does it work?
First, make sure your Android and Mac connect to the same wifi network. Click "Start Server" to connect them.
In Finder, you will see your Android device connected as a device listed on Shared.
If you get a Connection Failed, you need to connect through a server. In the Finder, choose "Go" and "Connect to Server" or simply you just press Command+K.
Enter the server address "smb://......" which is showed on Droid NAS app.
Enter the server address "smb://......" which is showed on Droid NAS app.
For example: If you wanted to access "extsdcard", you would append it with a slash.
You could also do the same thing if you would access SD Card.
If you wanted to add or remove any folders on Droid NAS. Just tap and hold "SD Card" or the other list folders on Droid NAS. You would get a new menu like this:
And the last, don't forget to click "Stop Server" if you're done.
Since it doesn't require any cables or any software installed on the Mac, so that's the easiest way I have found to connect my Android device to my Mac.
